Vision

In the centenary year of our Republic, as one of the most preferred tourism departments by students with the richest academic staff in terms of quality and quantity, to train the highest number of managers for tourism enterprises operating in the local-national-international field and to contribute to the training of qualified academic staff needed by our country at the highest rate.

Mission

Our department is committed to training managers and academicians for tourism. In this context, our main duties are as follows:

- To prioritize the personal development of our students with a student-oriented approach,

- Producing academic knowledge,

- To have an education staff that constantly renews itself and reinforces what it knows with applications to the sector,

- To transfer the values of our nation to new generations while providing them with the universal perspective that enables them to develop as citizens of the world,

- To create a culture in which participatory processes are implemented within the organization, teamwork is based on teamwork, a sense of "we" prevails, and subordinate-superior relations are in the dimension of mentoring,

- To contribute to the training of qualified academic staff needed by our country through graduate programs,

- To produce permanent solutions to the problems of the tourism sector with an analytical approach,

- Informing the public about tourism and ensuring that they understand and experience tourism,

- To create capacity and awareness in discovering, revealing and developing and using Sakarya's tourism and cultural resources.
